Chalet Updates
Okay in case anyone missed it, the chalet has now been CONFIRMED on the 11th to 13th July, Saturday to Monday. The cost will amount to about $20 to $30 for each person. The.. main highlight will be the barbeque on Sunday evening, where pretty much everyone will be there. The venue is at East Coast Park, and if you need a map you can just go to the website and find it, link is HERE.
A rough idea of activities at the chalet include cycling and swimming, maybe some soccer too. So please bring the appropriate attire for the above-mentioned activities.
And now I shall post the table of who will and won't be there during the chalet. This is kinda tentative, but it'll at least give you an idea of who will be there when you are.
I'll send everyone a message closer to the date.

Class Chalet
I'm too lazy to go find everyone's email again so I'll just use this as the primary means of advertising. I'm sure everyone will come by here sooner or later. We still got time anyway.
Aaron and I are planning a 3D2N class chalet. It's going to be dirt cheap because I intend to abuse Elizabeth's civil service discount at Aloha Changi which lets us get chalets from $30-90 a day. In all likelihood it'll start on a Friday morning and last til Sunday, so no matter what church/army commitments you have you should be able to spend at least 24 hours with some people. Alternatively we could make it a Sat til Monday thing, but we'll see the response. We're thinking early July as a tentative timeframe. So far I know Mich and Sarah will be back in Singapore during the time, not sure about Grace. From the guys' side none of us have anything major that we can forsee for the time being, so July seems like a rather firm time for us to finally meet each other in a happier setting.
Man I can't believe I've typed so much without making a joke.
So yea, because the guys can communicate via Mindef email, it'd be good if you girls could either tag here or let me know some other way whether you'll be free around the time, and also which days over an average weekend you'd be free.

Asking if (pls reply to my email)
So we've got Mr. Ng's farewell present already. Er..but we have not given it to him yet. Since it is a present after all, Sharon Ling suggests it should be presented, i.e. we give it in a nice way (not stuffing it into his pigeon hole or passing it to Ms Lye to get it to him).
So, I'm asking if we are interested in having lunch with him before we present the present.
AND, people who still owe me money for the present (EVERYONE), pls bring along $10.40 to pay me whenever you see me. thx (nice scary smile). Erm..but seriously, if you expected it to be less, have financial issues, feel like you need to treasure the last bits of your pocket money, or simply think Mr. Ng is over-priced, just let me know. Because there ARE people who do not mind/have extra money to pay - so don't fret (nice sincere smile).
Please reply to my email asap, and give your opinion (if you say yes) whether it's better to have lunch before we are taught how to kill* and cut our fingernails (yes they conduct fingernail checks there too). i.e. meet before or after enlistment..

Thanks and Such
Bit late, but I kinda want to thank all of you for making prom and post-prom enjoyable for me. It was hardly what I expected (which would have involved more alchohol and wild partying) but nonetheless fun. Thanks especially to Sarah Michelle and Enli, who allowed me to experience for the first time being alone at home with 3 girls, none of whom were my girlfriend.
Heh. Obligations.
Anyway, I think Sarah might be organising a Christmas party of some sort. Which will probably be after Christmas. ... Which means it'll just be a party with gifts. Or an outing. Or whatever. Anyway she's in charge! (Hail my skilled evasion of responsibility, also due to the fact that I'll be snowboarding in Japan from the 15th to... a few days before Christmas) So yea! Any help/suggestions should be forwarded to her.
