Aaron : For keeping Wei Ren and Jishun alive, carrying Sophia as King Lear and repeatedly getting stabbed. Oh yea and also for the cab ride back. Weiren and Jishun : For hanging upside down while blood trickled down you necks into your hair. Yiwen : For creative self-improvised costumes you made, brought life to all your chars. Sarah : For being brave enough to let me put a sharp object near you :P Rachel : For... wearing a skirt. Knowing how much you hate them. Enli : For encouragement more than anything else. haha... Zhao Feng : For doing all your roles well with a straight face despite most of them being so hilarious. Sophia : For taking on most of the roles that everyone was unable to do, being sporting enough to let Aaron carry you, and trying your best to be exotic lol. and of course Me : For planning everything. yay. Thanks again to everyone! posted by Moca at 9:34 PM Tuesday, July 25, 2006 Lit Week Static Display Updates - 2 Ok I' late for a dinner with a Singaporean family from Character List: Alison: Lavinia/Ophelia (Nothing for you to do tomorrow, but when if you can try and get your Ophelia drowning done as soon as possible. Send me the pictures by Thursday. Aaron: Aaron/Julius/Duncan (2nd one' already been done so your 2 scenes are being buried in sand and being stabbed in bed.) Weiren: Chiron/Romeo/Saturninus (Stuntman number 1. Strengthen your leg muscles. Romeo scene is pretty long and Saturninus involves you stabbing me. Yay) Jishun: Demetrius/Laertes/Macduff (Stuntman number 2. Don' think I'l need to worry about you due to lack of weight :p. Your other 2 scenes involve dueling with Zhao Feng and Yiwen respectively. Yiwen: Servant/Othello/Macbeth (Keep Jishun alive, smother Sophia and then get beheaded. All in a days work for you.) Wen Loong: Servant/Lucius/Lear (Keep Weiren alive and carry Enli for awhile in the 3rd one. Your Lucius is involved in 2 scenes, 1 where you stab Weiren and the other burying Aaron.) Zhao Feng: Antony/Hamlet (Run yourself through and die next to Michelle and duel Jishun.) Michelle: Cleopatra (Get bitten by snakes.) Sophia: Desdemona/Gertrude (Get smothered and drink poison. You get to die twice in 1 day!) Rachel: Juliet (stab yourself dramatically.) Sarah: Tamora (Get stabbed by me.) Enli: Cordelia/Cleopatra' maid (You're taking over from Grace because she's not free tomorrow at all. The other one just involves you being hanged and later carried around by Wen Loong.) Things to bring: Ok these are the things each of yall need to bring/wear for tomorrow. For all those scenes where blood is involved, I'm using some water colour solvent so the blood PROBABLY won't stain. No guarantees though. Just in case bring a shirt you don't mind losing. Alison: Nothing Aaron: You're going to get stabbed again so bring another white shirt you don't mind getting stained. I'll also request for you to bring some kind of... Royal clothing. I know it's vague but try your best. A garbage bag too. Weiren: White shirt you don't mind getting stained, black long pants and also a 'poison bottle'. Basically I need you to get a plain bottle and decorate it with a skull and crossbones to pretend it's poison. You'll be drinking from it by the way. Jishun: White shirt you don't mind getting stained, black long pants. A kilt if you have it o.O Yiwen: Black shirt and pants. A kilt too, if you have it. Also need you to bring some kind of ball which can pass off for your head. Decorate it abit as well, because we're holding it up for a pic. Don't worry if it looks retarded, it's meant to be. Zhao Feng: Black shirt and shorts/ ¾ pants. Michelle: I'm leaving your Cleopatra costume up to your discretion. If you can't think of anything to make you look more in character then a vibrant coloured top and skirt will do. Sophia: Bring your own pillow to be smothered with. Also if you can, a goblet. Ask your dad if can borrow o.O Rachel: White shirt that you don't mind getting stained, and also a neutral coloured skirt/dress. Sarah: White shirt you don't mind getting stained, long pants. Enli: Black shirt black pants. Wen Loong: I'll need you to kop some sand from the jump place. Black shirt black pants. A garbage bag if Aaron can't get it. (knowing Aaron, it's probably a matter of can but won't.) Me: Bowls, pie, 'snake', rope. That should be it. If for any reason you are unable to get the outfit I suggested or unable to bring any of the items, CALL ME. I'll make a round of calls later tonight to make sure everyone's clear on this. Let me know if anyone has any better ideas for any of the other characters as well. Yup. Yea that's more or less about it. Now I'm gonna go through the scenes and when we'll be filming them. The bulk of it will be done Wednesday after school. The scenes that WILL be done there include: 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, and 14. Scenes 3, 4, 9, and 13 will be filmed at later dates when the cast is free. Scene 11 will be left to Alison's discretion, and Scene 5 will be filmed TOMORROW after PW. Which means everyone must bring a scissors/sharp object to school (a la Sophia), and also set of home clothes (preferably black). Please spread the message to everyone when you get this. Aaron please bring a white top tomorrow that you can change into for the filming. I'll ask for some time during PW tomorrow to update all of you guys, but basically a list of major props that are needed are Fake Blood, and swords, so if anyone has fencer friends please ask to borrow their swords for Wed and Thurs. I'll only need 2 at any time. For the Wednesday filming, the minimum requirement for everyone is to bring a white top that you don't mind getting dirty with fake blood, and also a different coloured one. And a suitable bottom as well. Added notes for certain scenes
Final Words Ok that's about all I can think of right now. I know it all seems rather messy but trust in my organizational skills and that everything will work out. Call me if you need clarification on ANYTHING. Also it would help if everyone read up on the scene's their involved in so we might have a clearer picture. Bibliography/Acknowledgements Most of the information above came from my own brain. And from some random Shakespeare website that didn't really help that much. Jishun helped abit too. I think. I acknowledge myself for multiple hours of hard work today (which also caused me to miss Miss Universe dammit) and Jishun for doing some work which I'm not really sure what but you can be assured he was important. AIYAH. should've bought some honey dew. dammit. posted by krayle at 1:55 PM Thursday, July 20, 2006 rachel is bored. i am booorreed. repetition for emphasis. hahaha ok, not like i have a good reason to be bored. there's like quite alot to do. like 1) two essays for TSD to re-do 2) econs essay 2b thingy to draft 3) booth's lit quote thingy [which i am determined to conveniently forget 20 quotes are needed] sigh. busy-ness. but i guess, that was if i actually planned to do them. well ok the first task MUST be done because my TSD teacher is a morbid sadistic psycho who is mentally and emotionally unstable and therefore i have to try to stay as safe as possible. we NEVER manage to learn ANYTHING substantial during Econs tutorials. GOSH. why is our class so SAD. i mean, look at the boy's face.  doesn't that give you ANY idea how bored he must be? yes wenloong. i wanna upload his retard video and the videos taken during the massage-lesson during PE... so weird... but looks like you'll just have to do with photos after all, coz youtube is kinda not letting me in and i freaking don't know why.
