A01D Lit Week Static Display Tableu Scenes to be filmed as of now are: Table of Deaths Number Characters Brief Description of Scene Props 1 Weiren &Jishun -Chiron and Demetrius Yiwen & Wen Loong - Servants Moca - Titus Alison -Lavnia The sons are hung upside down at the chin-up bars. Blood trickles down their slit throats into a bowl, managed by Lavinia somehow without her hands. This is our biggest scene as it not only involves endangerment of actors but also lots of people. Photos: Throat Slit/Blood dripping/Pie? Total: 3 'Blood' Bowl(s) Pie o.O 2 Aaron - Himself Wen Loong - Lucius 4 tables to cover Aaron till chest height. Garbage bag to cover table surface and sand poured over. Simple scene. Photos: Starving/Dead Total: 2 Garbage bag Sand 3 Zhao Feng - Hamlet Jishun - Laertes Laertes stabs Hamlet with poisoned rapier, rapiers are swapped and Hamlet then stabs him. I'm thinking the exchange of swords can be something slightly more comical. Photos: 1st Stab/Exchange/2nd stab Total: 3 2 'rapiers' 'Blood' 'Poison' 4 Zhao Feng -Anthony Michelle - Cleopatra Grace - Cleo's maid Anthony stabs himself with a sword, is brought to Cleopatra who administers Asps to her abs. Or female equivalent. They die together in each others arms. Slightly Steamy scene but I hope the cast won't really mind Photos: Anthony stab/Cleo bite/both die Total: 3 1 'sword' 'Blood' 'Snake' 5 Aaron - Julius Everyone else Everyone crowds around Julius and stabs him. I chose Aaron because the large surface area makes it easier for many stabs. Photos: Stabbing/Death Total: 2 Multiple Scissors(get it? Lol!) 'Blood' 6 Yiwen -Othello Sophia - DesD Othello smothers Desdemona with a pillow, then stabs himself and falls to die beside her. Not sure if we can do this near a bed. Shall try. Photos: Smothering/Stab/Die Total: 3 'Pillow' 'Blood' 'Sword' 7 Weiren - Romeo Rachel - Juliet Romeo finds Juliet 'dead', drinks the poison and dies. Idiot! Juliet wakes and finds Romeo really dead, stabs herself and dies too! I always found this stupid. Anyway another slightly steamy scene but hopefully they don't mind again.. Photos: R finds J dead/R drinks poison/J finds R dead/J stabs herself/both die. Total: 5 'Poison' 'Blood' 'Dagger' 8 Yiwen - Macbeth Jishun - Macduff The 2 Macs Swordfight, then Macduff beheads Macbeth. Pretty simple. The head will look hilarious though. Photos: Swordfight/Severed head Total: 2 2 'swords' 'Blood' 'Head' 9 Alison -Lavinia Moca - Titus Ok the play has no real mention of HOW she dies so I'll make it up with what I have. Probably a stab as Will loves them. She'll be in costume. Photos: 1 'Blood' Costume 10 Moca - Titus Weiren -Saturninus Sarah - Tamora WenLoong -Lucius This one is just pure comedy. All 4 actors stand in 1 line and backstab each other. Looks retarded and that's the idea. Photos: 1 4 'Daggers' 'Blood' 11 Alison -Ophelia This is one scene I don't mind canceling if we can't pull it off. Either we photo her drowning in a bathtub or we do some photoshopping. Photos: 1 Water?? 12 Wen Loong - King Lear Enli - Cordelia Cordelia is hanged in prison and Lear after carries her body out into some storm and dies of a broken heart. Yet another slightly problematic scene, made worse because of rain. If there isn't any rain we'll make do with some hose spraying water. Might photoshop a broken heart for comedy. o.O Photos: Hanging/Carrying in rain/Die Total: 3 Pray for rain. 13 Sophia - Gertrude Zhao Feng - Hamlet Gertrude drinks a poisoned wine meant for Hamlet and dies while he looks on. Photos : Drink/Die Total: 2 Nice looking cup 14 Aaron - Yiwen - Macbeth Dagger is suspended in midair above Photos: Dagger suspended/Stab Total: 2 'Dagger' 'Blood' Yea that's more or less about it. Now I'm gonna go through the scenes and when we'll be filming them. The bulk of it will be done Wednesday after school. The scenes that WILL be done there include: 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, and 14. Scenes 3, 4, 9, and 13 will be filmed at later dates when the cast is free. Scene 11 will be left to Alison's discretion, and Scene 5 will be filmed TOMORROW after PW. Which means everyone must bring a scissors/sharp object to school (a la Sophia), and also set of home clothes (preferably black). Please spread the message to everyone when you get this. Aaron please bring a white top tomorrow that you can change into for the filming. I'll ask for some time during PW tomorrow to update all of you guys, but basically a list of major props that are needed are Fake Blood, and swords, so if anyone has fencer friends please ask to borrow their swords for Wed and Thurs. I'll only need 2 at any time. For the Wednesday filming, the minimum requirement for everyone is to bring a white top that you don't mind getting dirty with fake blood, and also a different coloured one. And a suitable bottom as well. Added notes for certain scenes Final Words Ok that's about all I can think of right now. I know it all seems rather messy but trust in my organizational skills and that everything will work out. Call me if you need clarification on ANYTHING. Also it would help if everyone read up on the scene's their involved in so we might have a clearer picture. Bibliography/Acknowledgements Most of the information above came from my own brain. And from some random Shakespeare website that didn't really help that much. Jishun helped abit too. I think. I acknowledge myself for multiple hours of hard work today (which also caused me to miss Miss Universe dammit) and Jishun for doing some work which I'm not really sure what but you can be assured he was important.
