Study Break
The irony of what they're calling the 3-day 'holiday' is hilarious. Anyway, here's something to do for those that want a rest from mugging, or never started and want some guiltless entertainment!

One. Think of 15 short bits of interesting stuff about yourself. And they've gotta be true.
Two. Come up with 5 false statements regarding yourself, but for fun's sake keep them in the threshold of believability.
Three. Jumble them all up together and list them in any order.
Four. Post them on LJ and let people guess which the five false ones are!
Five. Get 5 others to do the same.

My one's on my blog! Go there and play!

Pression
Our class fills up the prefix of the word. I doubt anyone is suffering from any form of overstress but here's a piece of advice, if you will. I dunno i just feel i need to put this out, it's a simple line but somehow people forget...

Please don't ever take on more than you can handle. It... hardly makes sense to live life doing things you don't enjoy all the time. Never, ever go through a day doing nothing you enjoy. Even if it's playing the piano, dancing, doing maths or reading a book.

On a lighter note (i'm doing this here because my blog post is too morbid), Happy Birthday Enli!

The word that Sophia doesn't believe in
Hey all! I know everyone has been studying like mad! Except maybe Aaron. And of course i don't count. But anyway, lighten up! At least after promos majority of you guys wouldn't have much to worry about. (H3 lit, KI IS, Chinese As) Actually only Brooke has to worry about all 3 of the above. So consider yourselves lucky. The way i see it, promos are barely the start of my 'fun' time.

To be honest, i actually have started work (about an hour or so of maths everyday o.O). But majority of my time has of course, been spent on dota and nfs. I barely left my home during the holidays, come to think of it.

Erm, before i forget, the main point of the post is to tell everyone to relax. (And no i'm not just saying this so i have less competition, though come to think of it...) I really mean it. It may be just me, but exams are hardly something worth losing sleep over. (then again i lose sleep over games, so i shdn't talk) But still, keep in mind that studying isn't, or at least shouldn't be, the only thing we're in school for. I came into JC with that mentality, and i sort of dropped it after awhile because of how much i realised i'd be missing. So yea.

Play.

Feeling Emo-ish
Since the quiz I did a long time ago said I'm and Emo Rocker, then I guess it's rather apt I feel as such often, not as a result of the quiz influencing me, but because I am natureally like that. I was thinking about the class and its diversity, like how it's a puzzle with all the pieces looking different, contributing in its own special significant way. If anyone is wondering 'hey, aren't all the pieces in a puzzle important?' then yes, that is my point. I was just wondering where we'd be in 10 years time and stuff. I don't know. I just get Emo sometimes. I thank God for all of you, I really do. In dedication, here's a song that I love and that reminds me of friends and friendships I treasure. Naturally I treasure some of you more because I don't spend much time with some of you and I know some of you better, but hey, it's my aim to get to know everyone better right?

Anyway, enjoy...

Friends
Michael W. Smith

Packing up the dreams of God planted
In the fertile soil of you
Can't believe the hopes He's granted
Means a chapter in your life is through
But we'll keep you close as always
It won't even seem you've gone
'Cause our hearts in big and small ways
Will keep the love that keeps us strong

Chorus

And friends are friends forever
If the Lord is the Lord of them
And a friend will not say "never"
'Cause the welcome will not end
Though it's hard to let you go
In the Father's hands we know
That a lifetime's not too long to live as friends.

With the faith and love God's given
Springing from the hope we know
We will pray the joy you'll live in
Is the strength that now you show
But we'll keep you as close as always
It won't even seem you've gone
"Cause our hearts in big and small ways
Will keep the love that keeps us strong

Belated Thanks
My attempts to start mugging during the holidays have been halted by an immense stomachache within 2 hours of doing maths. Bleah.

So anyway i know this is a little late, but thanks to everyone who came down at one point or another during the day, and to those that stayed over as well. It was nice to see... enough people from the class. Thanks also to Yu Juin and Jing Wen (if they come here) for helping to liven up our time there. Do come more often for our class gatherings lol. Oh and thanks again to Nat for the chocs! Haha.
