2007 begins...

A good morning to one and all! I think most of you would be sleeping still from a crazy New Year party or something since most of you are quite so happening. As it would be, I went to bed at the stroke of Midnight even though I wanted to sleep earlier. Sigh.

Anyway, it's here. The New Year has been ushered in already and the New Year has begun. I would actually like to thank all of you all first and foremost for having been and integral part of my first year of being a Rafflesian and having made it a wondrous year. Special thanks goes to of course the people whom I've spent the most time with, like Aaron, whom has now been a great friend for 5 years (2 and a half actual ones) my PW mates, for the spastic fun and laughter we had during those sessions and the filming (yes, sensitive issue as this may be, I think our group gelled the best and quite possibly had the most fun), and Enli, the only other H1 art student whom also has the same core subjects as myself. To the rest, it's also been a wondrous pleasure knowing all of you and getting to know you all better. I dare say right now that all of you are really wonderful people and that I truly truly pray that we have a great 2007 together.

I'm right now thinking of the year that has passed and man! it passed real quick. Too quick even. I feel somewhat sad to let it go, but it's gone, so it'll just remain a part of the memories. To quote our newest Literature novel, Pride and Prejudice,
"Think of the past as its remembrance gives your pleasure."

I think that's the way things should be done; however, I think that while I treasure the times of fun and laughter, I treasure the more emo ones, the more melancholic ones and the more hurting ones too, since I am certain we've all come out of them stronger, better people with our friendships reinforced. Speaking of this, I pray all our friendships will only improve and get better with age, as good wine does.

Alright. I wish not to be too lengthy.

Here's wishing all of you all success in everything you set out to achieve.
May the year 2007 be a wondrous one for all of you- one that's filled with love from and for others!

Cheers, people. Cheers.

Love,
Loong*=_)
